School Teams Event
Curlewis Golf Club
welcomed the Stuart Appleby Junior Foundation to the Course on Friday 14th
November for a qualifying event of the SAJF ‘Teams Golf’. The event included
teams of four from schools around the Geelong and Bellarine areas in a 9-hole, 4
Ball Ambrose format. The winning school was Oberon High School with a fabulous
score of six under 30. The team consisted of Keith Wrzuszczak, Ben Eccles, Tavae
Savni and Soleman Edwards. The weather on the day was perfect with all 40
participants enjoying a fantastic day of golf. The Club would like to thank the
SAJF for the work they put into the day and we look forward to many more SAJF
events held at the Club.
Curlewis Junior Open
The Curlewis Junior Open will be played on Friday
3rd July 2009, commencing at
8:00am via a multi tee start. The tournament will be played over 18 holes stroke
play and will be for both boys and girls in age categories as listed: under 12,
14, 16 and 18. The Curlewis Junior Open is sanctioned by the VGA as a Geoff
Ogilvy event and with major sponsor Drummonds Golf putting up some fabulous
prizes, it will be a great day for players and parents.

capacity field is reached. |

Overall Gross Winner & Runner-Up for both boys and girls

Overall Nett Winner & Runner-Up for both boys and girls

Gross & Nett Winners and Runners-Up in the following age
groups:
- Under 16 Boys
- Under 14 Boys |
